Ty Stevens' Razor Promo

What's goin' on guys?We got an email from Adam Rouse the other day with a video attached of his good buddy Ty Stevens. Ty has been riding for about a year and is already killing it. At 13 years old and on Razor, this kid is going places. I love this kid's style, he absolutely shreds. Check it out guys and watch Ty Stevens for some future videos because they are gunna be MAD!

Josh Kish Nike Opportunity??

            I've been talking to Josh since 7:30 this morning when he called me and woke me up to see what I was doing today. He really wanted me to come to New York with him on the train to go to the Nike 6.0 demo. Zig Short put in the good word for Josh and now Josh may have an opportunity to take on Nike 6.0 as a new sponsor! And I thought Josh was already stacked with Phoenix and Inward, two of the best sponsors out there, and now possibly Nike?! The kid is movin' on up! I don't know about you guys but I cannot wait to see what goes down at the Xtreme Wheels Competition!

            I was recently discussing the competition with Josh and what he expects to come out of it. He said, "Tyler Bonner, I'm going to beat you in this contest and then take you outside and beat you up!" Clearly he is going in strong with these words. Well I guess time will only tell who is on top! And with Tyler winning all of these competitions lately, who knows what we have in store at Xtreme Wheels.

Charles Barkley? Nah.. its Tanner Markley!

1) So Tanner we all know who you are so there is really no point in asking but a question I do have is whats new in the life of Tanner Markley?
Well there's a lot new I just moved to Sandusky Ohio and its literally nothing like Cali out here so I've had to make a few adjustments but other than that I've literally spent all my time out here on my scooter trying to build up a scooter scene out here.



2) So your in Ohio? what exactly are you doing in Ohio? how did you get that job? also what is it you do?
I actually got a call from Ali (Razor manager) and he had asked me if I wanted to leave home to ride scooters full time at Cedar point Ohio in the All Wheels Extreme Show. So of course I was more than down that's what I've wanted to do since I was 10. When I got here I met some of the other riders and some of them I've been watching on TV, in the X Games since I was a kid. The show is basically a family show so its not like a demo or anything, everything is choreographed, it contains 2 Dancers, 3 BMX riders(1 Flatland, 2 Ramp Riders), 2 Inline Skaters, 3 Gymnasts and for the first time a Scooter Rider.

3) We all remember you from the first SCSK movie and DXG of course, but what are your plans for the future with your new Sponsor ProRide?
Right now I could not ask for anything more from ProRide its by far the best sponsorship I've ever had. I'm fully dedicated to ProRide and I'm going to try to do all I can to help this team out.

4) What is your most memorable moment on your trip in Ohio would you say?
Well I cant just pick out one but every show I get parents and kids coming up to me telling me how much I've inspired them to go out and buy a Scooter, but my first day at the theme park when I walked in and saw a huge stadium with All Wheels Extreme all over it, that definitely would be something I will never forget from this trip.

5) Do you think scootering will ever get to the level were riders will be able to support their lifestyles from it? if so what needs to happen in order for that to be a possibility?No doubt in my mind. With all that has happened in the last few years this sport has a lot more still to come. The future of this world is kids and every kid I know loves scooters whether its doing tricks or just pushing around, and every time someone see's us pushing the limits on our Scooters, they know that they can do it too and I think eventually it will be as big as BMX or skating one day, its just a matter of time because there's still so many people out there that don't know about our sport.


6) Any last words or shout outs you would like to give?
Shout out to Ryan Hockwald, John Radtke, Twan, Jason Beggs, Ryan Frazer and the rest of the DXG crew riders that have been riding with me since the days of stock bolted pro models and still killing it every single day and helping build the sport without them I have no idea where I would be right now, but it would definitely not be here.

Silly Billy Evers!

If you are from anywhere in New Jersey you have probably seen these golden locks of love flying through the air. Introducing to the world Billy Evers. Now, I've known Billy for as many years as he has been riding scooters. Just recently he started to catch my eye as I saw him shredding at the famous Incline Club. He was boosting their 7 foot mini ramp almost as high as my face! This video he recently sent to us showcases what he can do when he has a couple of small parks in front of him. Billy is one of the CLEANEST and most CONSISTENT riders I've ever seen. And I've seen A LOT of riders! His sponsors include Ambush and Torn Scooters. Makin' Sense With Ethan Spence!

o, we had an extremely dedicated rider come to us wanting to be featured on RealScoots Productions. His name isn't very big unless you have seen him post on TheRideWire. I wanted to find out what was going on in this kids mind as he is always telling me some pretty crazy stuff!

I've fortunately had the opportunity to ride with him a couple of times and he is always a pleasure to ride with, and also just hang out with. Really chill dude. Anyway, here it is, for you guys!

So Ethan, let’s start this off easy. Where are you from?
Collingswood, New Joisy,

Big scooter scene there?
Not really. Once i moved here back in summer of '08, kids tried doing it and it became a fad. but by summer of '09 it was mostly dead.

Do you do anything to try to make it bigger there?
Nah. I dont usually ride in Collingswood because I don’t really like street riding. And my local parks are at least 10-15mins away.

Well at least the scene isn’t too far from you! How old are you and how long have you been riding?
i am 14 years young, and i have been riding for about 2 years now.

Wow! So young and yet so dedicated! Who are your sponsors and what others are you trying to obtain?
I currently ride and am the team manager for a small company called Top Notch Scooters. And im trying to obtain a sponsor that is well-known, but also 100% dedicated to the sport, not the $$$.

Awesome! Good luck with that. You seem very involved and have a great mentality! I know you have talked to me about a little surprise for the industry that you’ve been working on. Explain!
Yeah, well me and my friend Joe Riley have been currently working on a project/company called Essential Scooter Apparel. A clothing company for riders by riders. We have ALOT of things planned for the summer, so keep posted.

It's Catching On Like Wild FIRE...

Hey everybody today we have some big News, it appears that after a long six years of debates the State of Oregon has wised up and decided to allow Scooters at Reedville Skatepark. This is a big accomplishment for all riders that were involved in this, I personally know the hardships of getting an entire city board to stop overlooking Scooters as a dangerous kids toy and see it as the Extreme Life Style sport we all know it is.

Oregon is a Scooter Mecca and has many "Grass Roots" tied into it, with TSI Scooters being one the first companies to come out with a one piece deck, and having KC Corning being one of the founders, There's really no need to talk about KC as we all know he is and always will be a loved legend in the sport.

Oregon even has some new faces in it as well such as Phoenix Pro Scooters, Owner Tom Floyd, with his many years in the bicycle industry he definitely knows his stuff and continues to help push the sport with his remarkable after market parts.

So as you can see from this video Oregon just couldn't hold of anymore as they have some clean flowy riders who just love to Shred massive bowls and boost through some fun lines.

Little Name, Big Skills!

There is nothing in this world that makes me happier than seeing a rider who is pushed by himself to ride hard. His name is not very well known but it doesn't stop him from shredding hard! Haydn White sent us this video in hopes that people would finally realize that he exists! Well, take a look at this video and you will see that he does exist, and is in full force to take the sport by storm. Haydn has a remarkably clean style and is a very well rounded rider. He may not have much street to ride around him, but he utilizes the park to show that he has street skills too! I would watch out for Mr. White because he is going to blow up the spot! Upcoming Star

Recently we received our first video email from a kid who i have had the pleasure to meet at the Last Real Scoots Demos in Arizona. This kid from Tucson amazed everyone with his ridiculous Bri-Flip skills doing it better then I can even tail-whip. I have noticed this kid has tons of determination trying to just get out there into the mainstream of scooter riding. Most people wouldn't give a kid of his status a chance but here at Real Scoots we believe everyone deserves a chance I know we have all been there wishing for help from Real Pro Riders.

S***T Just Got REAL

This is a Lil' edit we through together last night, Twan and Julio filmed it all in a hour or so before Twan had to go to the airport to fly to OZ. It consists of a bunch of random different tricks and lines, video was made to show consistency and fun.

OUR PAST....

What we have achieved so far from this organization started by Anthony "Twan" Bustos himself is a new way to Help Promote and Grow the sport of Freestyle Scooter Riding. The way we have accomplished this goal is by setting up Demos, Ride Days, Videos and More... We hope that by doing all of this we will Grow the Sport from "Getting hatted on by Skaters and others, and being called a Kiddie Sport" and hopefully develop into a true Extreme Sport that we all know it is.

Some of the More Recent things we have done to Achieve this goal of ours is " The Real Scoots Demos" In Arizona. Raymond Warner, Julio Oceguera, and I took a week of our daily lives to go to Arizona and have four Major Demos all throughout the entire State Thanks to the help of all its Sponsors. With The help of everyone we had a huge success exceeding with over more then a 100 people at just one Demo, which we had free food and a Product Toss.

We hope that all of you fellow riders out there realize we are in for the growth of what we all love to do and hope you will also help us with it. Wether if its just giving us Ideas and Advice or Even Participating in the Events we hold...
